Fresh Bedroom Ideas Small Spaces
modern bedroom furniture for small spaces
Easy enough to find decorating ideas if you live in a three or four bedroom house. You have plenty of room to try the ideas you like. But what if you live in an efficiency apartment? We are talking one room, a bedroom and a bathroom smaller than the closet at most. In a small space, how do you decide which trendy decorating ideas you want to use and what will you save for the day when you bought your first castle? I always read decoration magazines all the time, and I always want a room with a bright yellow color with blue and blue. And another room in sage green and salmon. And a room with a nautical theme and one with a hint of Victorian lace for it. If you read decoration magazines as well, then you know what I mean. You keep thinking of the next new color scheme. Unfortunately for me, I have never stayed in a house with more than two bedrooms, and lately I have moved into efficiency apartments every time I move.
I move a lot for my work so I grow old in this. So, let me know some of my great decorating ideas for a small space. The first thing I did when I moved into a small apartment was to look around and see what I needed. Not what I needed to decorate the place, but what I need to make the place habitable. Generally it’s less storage space in a smaller place. Maybe you need an extra closet in the kitchen area or a cupboard is too small for all your clothes, or there is no storage cupboard in the bathroom so you need a place for linens and such. You may find that you need some kind of storage cabinet or shelf in each area and if so, this makes your decorating job much easier. The biggest problem with decorating apartment efficiency is tying it all up.

Generally you can stand in one place and see the whole place and, while you want to define a different area, you also want them to mingle. When you have decided which storage sections you need, get a piece that expresses the same theme. For example, you might get a Shabby Chic dresser for your apartment’s bedroom area, a Shabby Chic-style television with a covered storage cupboard underneath for your living, and some Lusin Chic racks for storing towels in your bathroom. By selecting the appropriate pieces, your eyes will be taken from one area to another, not just looking at your small apartment as a large piece of furniture. Then if you want to add a ship wheel in the bathroom area and a Victorian lace throw on your bed, and a modern stainless steel tube mounted on your desk can, as each area will be determined, but will still mix.
